Annotation placement backwards

When inserting an annotation, to place it if I click right it
goes left and if I click left it goes to my right. These commands
seem to be backwards.
This has been for along time just never mentioned it.

Yes, you are right. However, this can be imagined as alignment: left alignment means that its margin as on the left side and vice versa. I don't really want to change this concept unless many people complains about it. It is not really an error just a little misunderstanding.
