  • State changed from “new” to “open”

  I uploaded a new version, try the following:

  1. In the Finder, navigate to your main hard drive/Library/Application Support.
     
  2. If there is a SongScribe folder in Application Support, delete it.
     
  3. Delete the entire SongScribe folder from the main Applications folder.
     
  4. Download SongScribe.dmg and reinstall the applications in the Applications folder.

  I did all the above.
  Downloaded 1.13
  updated
  an update downloaded.
  same error message appeared

  songwriter will open files but the error message after update does exist.

  Try this:

  1. Go to Applications/Utilities
     
  2. Open Disk Utility
     
  3. Select your main drive (at the top of the list on the left)
     
  4. Click Repair Disk Permissions

  I did the above.
  No change error message still appears.
  Tried update, downloaded 135.32 update.
  error message appears.
  error message "update failed" appears

  You have the latest version, so updating is not necessary. What happens if you download the application and put it in your Documents folder and run it from there?

  • State changed from “open” to “resolved”
  • Milestone order changed from “0” to “0”

  On older versions of Mac OS X, it can't be updated while running. You will have to download a new version when it is available.
